Plastic in the oceans damages life all the way down to microorganisms. plastic eventually becomes microparticles and eaten by the fish we eat ourselves. so we get microparticles of plastic in our bodies. Whales get their stomachs filled with plastic when they hunt the fish that hide under the islands of plastic that are everywhere in the oceans and can die from it.
Help the oceans of the world
The oceans around the world are loaded with no less than 8 million tons of plastic a year. the plastic is thrown from ships, blown from land and drifted along rivers into the sea. The task of cleaning the oceans of plastic is a huge task and all donations help.
The Milky Way will support projects that clean plastic from the oceans and plastics will be recycled into items that have no chance of ending up in the oacens again.
